Harvest Moon Patches and a New Cloth

Had a really productive day in the studio, taking photos of previous small cloths for the shop, and making some new felt meets cloth patches; some autumn harvest moons:

I have also been playing with a new cloth. Its a work in progress, might be a slow one. May even see me to winter? Lets see how it goes. Its still small, but on the larger side of small, and could grow of course...

Felt Meets Cloth - etsy shop now open

I have taken the plunge; an Etsy shop owner I now am! Check it out HERE, I will be slowly adding more to it over the next few days, but so far I have some of the recent bookmarks and the recent summertime small cloth for sale. More Bookmarks

More bookmarks finished. Taken some nice images I think so I hope to put these up to sell in my new Etsy shop this week. Was going to do it tonight but been totally distracted by the riots in London. Its madness. Time for bed I think. 

Bookmarks

Now I tried posting this yesterday from my phone but it failed and wouldn't let me do it again! So here it is again; cannot quite remember what I said but basically these are two new stitched pieces, bookmarks to be precise. They will be for sale in my new (nearly ready) etsy shop very soon. Watch this space!

They are bits of the monoprinted textiles from a few weeks ago along with some other scraps and some hand stitching; designed to fit nicely in any book and also be a kind of soft comfort to hold while reading. A place keeper and a 'sense of place' holder? Either way, I want to make more.
